By downloading, installing, or using Paycheck Compass ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Paycheck Compass is a personal budgeting tool. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, investment, or professional advice of any kind. It is not connected to any bank or financial institution.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App.
All financial data you enter is stored exclusively on your device. No data is transmitted to or collected by the Developer. No data is shared with any third party at any time. You are solely responsible for backing up your data.
You are solely responsible for enabling appropriate device-level security. The Developer is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from a lost, stolen, shared, or unsecured device.
Paycheck Compass is available through a paid subscription via Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You may manage or cancel at any time through your Google Play account settings.
Refund requests are governed exclusively by Google Play's refund policy. No refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods.
The App does not consider your personal financial situation, connect to any bank, access or move your funds, or guarantee any financial outcome. Any figures, percentages, or category suggestions are illustrative only. You assume full responsibility for any outcomes resulting from the use of the App.
AI-generated content does not take into account your personal circumstances and must not be relied upon as a basis for financial decisions.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
The Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding any claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from any claims arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or any financial decisions made based on App information.
All content, design, code, branding, and materials within Paycheck Compass are the intellectual property of the Developer. All rights reserved.
A Financial Features Declaration has been completed in the Google Play Console. The App does not facilitate investment, lending, money transfer, or any regulated financial service.
We may update these Terms from time to time with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for conduct that violates these Terms. Your locally stored data is not affected upon termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy at paycheckcompass.com, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding use of the App.
These Terms apply to Paycheck Compass Version 1.3 and later.
